Subject: Are you ready for the 2015 EYE Retreat?
As of today, we've received 12 applications from youth with visual impairments living in Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia who want to learn more about college and careers at the 2015 Envisioning Youth Empowerment Retreat!
Any student with a visual impairment or coexisting disability is welcome and encouraged to apply to our traditional college track, which is now in its 7th year, or to our newly created career track, which we will officially launch this summer.
The 2015 EYE Retreat will be July 26 to August 1, 2015 on the campuses of Governor Morehead School and North Carolina State University. Examples of classes include social skills, note taking, interview skills, sports and recreation, resume writing, public transportation, self-advocacy, and much more!
