The First Annual Walk for the Mind was undoubtedly a huge success! People from all over Dare County, Virginia, and even Ohio participated! With all the hard work and dedication from the Dare County Center Staff, GEM, and the event sponsors, we were able to raise over $3,000! A big thanks to everyone who walked and donated because together we've increased awareness and touched the lives of local families effected by dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
