Start new family traditions at the beach with OBXmas Weekends. Please feel free to share these holiday beach events with your guests, visitors, family and friends. Events run through the first week of January 2013.     Save big this holiday season with Travel Packages and Specials!     Diving Santa at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island   Santa suits up and makes a splash in the 285,000-gallon Graveyard of the Atlantic exhibit from 1-2 p.m. and 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, December 23rd at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Visitors can have souvenir photos taken with Santa by FotoFX, and relay Christmas wishes via the Aquarium's Neptune Communication System. Race Start/Finish Kitty Hawk Pier behind the Hilton Garden Hotel MP 1 on Route 12 in Kitty Hawk.   Event Information: Kitty Hawk Pier at the Hilton Garden Inn Kitty Hawk, NC 27949 Register Here    Winter Lights at the Elizabethan Gardens        Come experience Holiday lights and music as the Elizabethan Gardens, presented by Southern Bank, transforms into an illuminated winter wonderland during the Winter Lights spectacular. A twenty-two night event of holiday lights and sight, complete with peacocks, butterflies, deer and other garden creatures created with flowers, seeds, natural elements, as well as traditional holiday decorations. Stroll through The Gardens and enjoy the spirit of the season.
