Sock Hop at October's Harmony Café

Remember when the sock hop was the place to be? GEM and the Nags Head Lions Club are offering a trip down memory lane with a sock hop at St. Andrews by the Sea on Friday October 9th from 6 -9pm. We will be serving refreshments at 50's prices: Hot dogs, Cokes- cherry and vanilla; Egg creams – chocolate and vanilla, Malteds & Shakes, Ice cream sodas & sundaes, plus coffee and cake.
We will offer a mix of entertainment provided by The Atlantic School of Dance, and Angelo and the SUNSETS. Join in and sing or bring your own group; we will also have DJ Magic Mike for your twisting pleasure, a dance contest, and a best /most … .costume contest – wear your poodle skirt!
